Spring is prime time for de-thatching your lawn. This removes the "brillo pad" layer that reduces the ability for fertilizer to meet the soil. Too much thatch can trap fertilizer and create fungus and mold on the blades to grass. Spring is also a great time for core aeration and overseeding which we normally do following the dethatching process.  Fall is another great time for aerating and seeding.
